Booking

Since I am a Hilton Honors American Express Aspire cardholder, every year I get a free weekend night reward to use at almost any Hilton property worldwide.  I had an expiring reward certificate, and a planned trip to Disney World. Waldorf Astoria Orlando was the best reward redemption option near Disney, and luckily, they had availability for our dates, so we booked a Deluxe Room.

As a Diamond Hilton Honors member, I am eligible for space-available room upgrades. We asked if there were any upgrades available at check-in, and we got upgraded to a suite! We were thrilled to check it out.

Final Thoughts

We loved our short, one-night stay at Waldorf Astoria Orlando, and we would love to come back.

If I had to choose the best part of our stay, I’d have to say it was the view from our balcony. We could see the landmarks from three of the parks: Spaceship Earth (Epcot), Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios), and Everest (Animal Kingdom).
