The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Haneda Review

Our flight from Tokyo to Hong Kong was departing from Haneda Airport at 10 am. The earliest Limousine Bus from Hilton Tokyo Bay wouldn’t get us to the airport till 8.30 am, so I have decided to book a night before our departure at the Royal Park Hotel, located right in the International Terminal of Tokyo Haneda Airport.

The Royal Park Hotel is located in the International Terminal of Haneda Airport, making it the perfect choice for travelers who are looking to catch an early flight (like us) or need to stay overnight before their next flight.

The hotel offers a variety of room types to suit different needs and budgets: from Refresh room (a private shower room with sofa and TV but no bed) that can be rented by an hour to suites. All rooms are modern and stylish. They feature comfortable beds (besides the Refresh rooms, of course), flat-screen TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Guests staying in the Premium rooms get complimentary breakfast or lunch at the hotel’s Tailwind restaurant and free drink tickets.

Booking

You can book your stay directly with the hotel here.

I have found a better deal on Expedia, so shop around if you are planning on staying at the Royal Park Haneda.

Location

The hotel is located in Haneda’s International Terminal.

No need for a shuttle, no connecting bridges to cross. Getting to the hotel couldn’t be easier: just take your preferred method of transportation  to the International Terminal and follow multiple signs to the hotel.

Room

I booked the Hollywood Twin room.

The room was tiny and not particularly clean (see the video tour below). However, since we were only just sleeping there, it was absolutely fine.

The room comes with a range of amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guests will have access to an in-room safe, an electric kettle, flat screen TV, humidifier/air-purifier, hair dryer, and a refrigerator.

The private bathroom includes a bathtub and shower. Guests will also be provided with complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush kit, hairbrush, razor, and more), slippers, and a robe.

Tokyo Haneda Airport

Tokyo Haneda airport is the best airport we’ve ever been to.

With multiple shops, restaurants, kids play areas, and observation deck, you could easily spend hours exploring the airport (see our video below), and we did exactly that before retiring back to the hotel room for our final night (of the trip) in Tokyo.

Final Thoughts

Yes, the room was tiny, but, as this is an airport hotel, you are very unlikely to spend more than just a few hours in the room, so we did not have an issue with this.

The location of the hotel is perfect: literally, steps away from the airlines’ check-in counters.

We would definitely stay at Royal Park Haneda again.
